Alibaba Group announced to donate RMB 2 million to Haiti via One Foundation on January 16th, 2010, which would be used to purchase the most needed medical supplies for earthquake victims. 
Meanwhile, the Group will work closely with One Foundation at all levels.  The Chinese website of the Group (www.alibaba.com.cn) calls for contributions from 35 million SMEs registered in China, while it sets up a special link to Haiti donation on Taobao.com (www.taobao.com), encouraging 145 million Taobao subscribers to provide their aids and attentions.
