Latest for the 2nd quarter:
1. 2008.4.17, One Foundation held a press conference in Beijing. The press conference advocates “Starting from one and philanthropy for everyone.” One Foundation released its latest strategy and the name list of the first batch of specialist volunteers. The 50 specialist volunteers, comprised of prominent NPO experts and so forth, have promised to at least donate one hour each month to help One Foundation in philanthropic giving.
2. 2008.5.8, One Foundation’s first international aid program initiated, allocated 100,000 RMB to areas hit by tropical-storm in Myanmar.
3. 2008.5.12, a major earthquake measuring 8 Richter Scale jolted Wenchuan County of Southwest China's Sichuan province. Areas in Chongqing, Hunan, Hubei, Gansu, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Hebei, Shangai and Beijing were also affected. In the afternoon, One Foundation allocated 1,000,000 RMB for emergency aid and quickly organized joint donations with our partners like Tencent.com, Sohu.com, Taobao.com, Tianya.cn, and Kong.net.
5.15, One Foundation dispatched its first task team to Sichuan. On the same day, One Foundation held a press conference in Beijing to disclose quake relief information. Three days after the quake, One Foundation had raised 28.05 million RMB.
5.17, Jet Li, the founder of One Foundation led the second task team with relief materials to Sichuan. Post-disaster psychological expert volunteers and accountants from Deloitte were in the task team. The first batch of relief materials includes tents, quilts, sleeping bags, disinfection pills, infant milk powder, purified water, water proof cover, medicine, medical equipment and flashlights.
5.18, Jet Li led a relief convoy comprised of 7 vehicles carrying materials to severely hit Shifang city in Sichuan. 4 vehicles unloaded relief materials in Yinghua town. Those materials include 2000 crates of water, rice, flour and so on, and local government staffs distributed them to quake victims. The other 3 vehicles delivered rice, tents, water, flour, carpets, sanitation sundries and rubbish bins to Shifang Municipal Government and local Red Cross Society.
5.19, the first “One Foundation Home” was built in Jiuling School, Jiuling town, Jiangyou city of Sichuan province. “One Foundation Home” was made up of 80 tents, each 12 square meters and every four tents form a classroom. The 20 classes in Jiuling School resumed their study in these tents. The Home was the first local temporary school site, and One Foundation will continue to support the post-quake reconstruction of school buildings.
5.21, One Foundation’s “Temporary Command Post for 5.12 Earthquake in Sichuan” was established in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan province. It’s the first time that One Foundation set up an entity to conduct natural disaster relief work. The establishment of the Command Post symbolized One Foundation’s quake relief efforts had shifted from its initial stage of emergency aid to long term post disaster reconstruction. One Foundation will take root in Sichuan quake hit areas and work with relief team of China’s Red Cross Society and local Red Cross to and launch specific operations for reconstruction.
4. 2008.5.25, the second “One Foundation Cup Charity Saloon Car Race” was held at the International Circuit in Shanghai. 14 One Foundation celebrity volunteers joined the Race unter the title “Wen Chuan Gas Up”. Celebrity volunteers and spectators signed their names on the race banner to offer their blessings to the suffering people in Sichuan. The banner was taken to disaster areas by One Foundation. The event raised over 700,000 RMB or $101,000 for disaster relief in Sichuan.
5. 2008.5.30, Bazzar magazine held a press conference for the sixth Celebrity Charity Night, announcing an exclusive collaboration between the sixth Night and One Foundation. The fund raised will be used for reconstruction in Sichuan and promotion of philanthropic awareness.
6. 2008,6,16, One Foundation allocated 500,000 RMB against flood. 10 flood-hit province of Zhengjia, Anhui, Fujian, Jiangxi, Hubei, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Guizhou and Yunnan received 50,000 each to buy much-needed food and medicine for disease prevention.
2008.6.18, One Foundation allocated another 500,000 RMB to buy rice, first-aid packets, tents and other emergency supplies. Up till now, One Foundation has already donated 1 million to fight against floods. This sum of charity fund is from the reserved fund for disaster relief from the entire One Foundation fund.

Microsoft (China) Co, Ltd. Donated 2.4 million RMB on May 16, 2008 for relief work in Sichuan.
Costa Cruise. Donated 2 million RMB on May 29, 2008 for relief work in Sichuan.
Tetra Pak (Kunshan) Co, Ltd. Donated 10 million RMB on June 2, 2008 for relief work in Sichuan.
Montblanc-Simplo GMBH. 2008.7.3, Montblanc cooperated with One Foundation, designed and crafted 30 Montblanc - One Foundation limited edition fountain pens. Each sale of the 30 pens will donate 5,000 Euros to One Foundation.

Promotional Partner:
Beijing Tiffany & Co., Ltd. Signed an agreement with One Foundation on April 18, 2008 to donate 1% sales of each Tiffany’s product to the foundation’s philanthropic operations.
Taobao.com. Signed a strategic cooperation agreement with One Foundation on July 5, 2008. Announced cooperation between Taobao.com and One Foundation on online philanthropic promotion and initiated the all-around cooperation between Alibaba Group and One Foundation.
Other corporations and their donations:
2008.5.16, Qiao Jiang Nan (South Beauty Restaurant) and One Foundation co-launched a philanthropic operation under the title of “A Caring Heart for Quake Victims”. Up till August 8, 2008, the chain restaurant will donate 1 RMB per customer via One Foundation to quake hit areas.
2008.7.1. The movie The Red Cliff and Swiss watch brand DeWitt co-hosted a philanthropic banquet. The banquet raised 1 million RMB and donated it to One Foundation for the reconstruction of quake hit areas in Sichuan.
